The “Whyalla”



The Whyalla

 At Whyalla we went to the Whyalla Tourist Centre and Marine Discovery. We got a tour of the “Whyalla” which is a warship (it was used by the Navy in World War Two). Before it came back to Whyalla but after it worked for the Navy it was named the “Rip”. The depth of a ship is how much of it sits in the water. The “Whyalla” had a depth of 9 feet unlike the big ships which mostly had a depth of 10 feet or more so the “Whyalla” could go through shallow water.
