When we arrived in Munglinup we stopped at a stop. Across the road was a roadhouse. We played on a playground and Harry did the splits on the running machine and after we got food from the roadhouse. I had a toasty which had ham and cheese.
Then I looked at a map and saw that on our way to Esperance we could go to the old school site. When we got there it was a pad of concrete with a stone inscription about the school.
Esperance was next. We went to McDonalds and I climbed a tree. It was gigantic. We stayed with one of mum’s friends from school. We had a bike ride to the jetty and saw Sammy the seal.
Along the road we saw salmon gums which is a tree type named because they are salmon in colour. There was also salt lakes which we knew we would see because we looked it up on Google Earth.
16km past Norseman was a bay which we parked in. We had neighbours, two of them at least (I can’t remember their names).
