Easter, Easter, Easter

DSCF0613On Easter We had an Easter egg hunt. Some of the eggs were hidden in the annexe. One was even on the wine bottle. It took a long time. On Easter night we cracked a giant Easter egg with our neighbours, Wayne and Marion. It was terrific.

DSCF0633We drove to Burra and went to the town hall to dress up in old fashioned clothes.

At Burra we saw the churches. They had beautiful patterned windows.

Then we tried to have a sneak peek at the old extinct giant wombat, the Diprotodon. Next we went to the bakery but it was closed so we had to go to the cafe again and I was looking forward to going to the bakery.

Then we went back to the caravan to have tea and Dad cooked pizza for us. Me and Harry gulped down the pizza and Mum and Dad hardly got any. Dad got about 2 pieces and Mum 1.

  1. Pizza for tea sounds very yummy Max!
I like the photo of you in the Top Hat,Mum in her Bonnet and Harry in his Sailor's outfit. It all looks very smart and a good example of the special clothes from olden days in Australia.

I'm pleased to hear that the Easter Bilby found you!!
